TPS23730: Coil selection or alternate

I'm looking at the TPS23730 or LM5072, not really for POE, but for compatible isolated output.

My input range is going to be 20 to 50 vdc, and desired output is isolated 12V > 800mA, and a low BOM count is preferred.

1. Are either of these IC's, or any others compatible with this coil https://www.coilcraft.com/en-us/products/transformers/power-transformers/power-over-ethernet/poexxpr/poe24pr-12/ ?

2. Any other recommendation on the lowest BOM count Adapter capable reference designs from TI?

    A: Both ICs are compatible to the transformer you have attached.

    2. Any other recommendation on the lowest BOM count Adapter capable reference designs from TI?

    A: You can check on TPS23753A or TPS23758, both of them have cost optimized solutions.

    TPS23753A features a secondary side regulation flyback and a diode can be used on the secondary side. You can check PMP8803 as reference.

    TPS23758 features a primary side regulation (PSR) flyback with sync FET on the secondary side. The PSR can save on the optocoupler, error amplifier, soft-start diodes and some RCs. The reference design is TIDA-010083 for 5V (You will need to change the transformer and FB resistors for 12-V output).

    For required 20V-50V range, adapter priority will handle 20V - 37V for both options.
