TPS7H4003-SEP: Impact of VIN on Externally Set Frequency

Hi,

In the Electrical Characteristics section of the datasheet, the Externally Set Frequencies are given with different RT values and also different VIN values, but I could not find more explanation for the relation between VIN and the frequency. Is there an equation for Fsw-VIN (similar to the Fsw-RT equation) or some more detailed explanation for it?

    Hi Syler,

    There is no equation for Fsw over VIN. The Externally Set Frequencies section of the device datasheet does provide Min Typ and Max datapoint for two VIN levels at three different RT settings. Those datapoints are collected over the full temp range of the device.

    In addition, Figure 6-3 on page 9 of the device datasheet provides a plot of Fsw over VIN at -55C, 25C, and 125C.
