TPS65987D: PP1 not working

Hello,

I am using a TPS65987DDH as a power source only device (PP_HV1). For some reason PP1 is never switched ON, no matter what I try in the configuration. I tried with multiple different devices (tablet, smartphone, etc) but I always get the same result.

I have included the pjt file.

The zip file appears to be empty.

It appears that you do not have the PP_CABLE connected.

Here is the full file. I do not not use VCONN so PP_CABLE is not connected.

Please connect to GND or 5V.

Is VIN3_3 supplied when performing these tests? Can you determine if the image is successfully loaded and the PD transitions to APP mode?

Yes APP mode is working and 3.3v is supplied constantly, I checked the configuration through i2c and everything checks out. If you look at the screenshot, it indicates a charge detection complete line, even though BC1.2 is deactivated in the configuration.

Can you place a scope onto the PPHV1 and VBUS?

I also noticed this comment in the datasheet. How difficult would it be to move the path to PPHV2?
