TPS26750: Questions Regarding TPS26750 EEPROM Configuration and MCU Usage

Dear TI Engineering Team,

I have two questions regarding the use of the TPS26750:

For a configuration set to operate at 48 V / 5 A, what is the typical size of the configuration file that needs to be written to the EEPROM?
After writing the configuration to the EEPROM, is it still necessary to use the MCU on the evaluation board, or can it be omitted for normal operation?

No. The MCU is not required. The PD controller will automatically load the configuration from the EEPROM.

I have one additional question:
If we use a pin header interface to write the configuration to the EEPROM, what would be the minimum hardware configuration required to enable normal operation without the MCU?

Hello,

This would just be the I2C interface and the recommendation is to power from LDO_3V3.
