I am working on a project that requires a DC/DC converter to get 6V/50mA from a 12V power supply.
I choose to use the TPS560200 and made my schematic by using WEBENCH (link: webench.ti.com/.../SDP.cgi
So, I made a PCB based on this schematic:
I have a series of problems:
- With no load, my output voltage is 8V instead of 6V.
- If I try to supply this circuit with the load already connected, I get no output voltage (maybe the component ends up in output undervoltage protection?)
- When I connect the load later (a 220ohm Res), I get a 7V output voltage and I am hearing a noise, probably coming from the inductor.
I choose a Bourns SRN2012T-100K, with a Isat of 360 mA. This choice seems to comply this the datasheet's requirements:
Do you see any problem in my design?
