Hello,

We have used 2 X TPS62876 to provide 0.75V@11A in a stack configuration. On PCB, there is mistake that tied the SYNCOUT pin of the secondary PMIC to GND while it is recommended to connect to GND through a 47k ohm resistor. I can measure my power rail is actually providing 0.75V, but not sure what kind of behavior we expect while tieing the SYNCOUT pin of the 2nd PMIC, any insight?

The SYNCOUT pin is giving out signals constantly, so there must be a resistor between it and the GND. Otherwise this output pin is shorted to ground and leads to an excessive current.

hi LH_TI,

Sorry the stack configuration cannot be disabled from the primary PMIC. The chip checks the statues of SYNCOUT pin to find out its stack configuration. Please try to add a resistor there.
