Hi team,

I have a question about quiescent current when input is Open. 

I assume Figure 8-1 circuit in datasheet page 59.

If ADC_EN=0, then 

1. IQ_BAT=17uA(typ)

2. IQ_VAC or IQ_REV = 0uA

Is my understanding correct?

Since INPUT is Open, there should be no input leakage to VAC.

    Hi Shinji,

    The understanding is correct. If the input is open and the device is not in reverse mode, IQ is 17 uA. There should not be any leakage on VAC since there is no VAC voltage.

    • IQ_BAT means there is a battery only.
    • IQ_REV means that there is a battery only and reverse mode is enabled but the device is not switching. This is an unlikely scenario.
    • IQ_VAC means there is an input voltage, but the device is not switching.
