Hi support team,
I understand that the EN pin must have a series resistor of 15kΩ or more.


Is it okay to simply use a pull-up resistor as shown in the diagram below?

Thanks for reaching out.
As long as you are sure that the GPIO and PG pins are not internally biased (or in open-drain configuration), it can be directly connected to EN pin of the device.

Is it okay to use a 10kΩ pull-up resistor for the EN pin?
There is no series resistor between the TPS652190's GPIO and the TPS6287x-Q1's EN pin.

Doesn't the following statement mean that the pull-up resistor must be 15kΩ or greater?
"The user must connect to this pin using a series resistor of at least 15kΩ."
The reason I'm checking is because the TPS65219x checklist states that the typical value is between 1kΩ and 10kΩ.

Hello Dice-K,
The minimum current limiting (series) resistor on EN pin must be at least 15K. Hence, 10K pull-up resistor is not enough.
I suggest to post a separate query here (E2E platform) about using a higher pull-up resistor (=> 15K) on GPIO of TPS65219x.
