LM251772: Discrepancy Btw Datasheet, web listing and Webench

Part Number: LM251772

Tool/software:

Hi there,

I am considering this IC for a custom CCCV charging solution.

One of the main challenges we’ve faced is finding a part that allows full control of the CCCV thresholds via I²C (or another protocol).

Our application requires a minimum output voltage of around 1.75 V, which is not supported by many ICs. The datasheet for this IC states that it can go as low as 1 V, but both Webench and the product page specify 3.3 V as the minimum output voltage.

I also tried the quick-start calculator, but when I enter the nominal voltage, the field turns red.

Could you please clarify whether the IC is indeed capable of operating down to 1 V (as referenced in section 8.3.7.2 “Output Voltage Feedback” of the datasheet)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,
