Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5013,
Tool/software:
Hi,
I'm currently using a TPS25961DRVR to set a current limit of 1.15A. Specification is as follows:
- 1.1A nominal current output. Limit must occur between 1.05A and 1.15A.
- Output voltage between 4.75V and 5.25V. My buck regulator supplying the TPS25961 is an LM5013 set to 5.2V
My testing shows that this configuration just about meets the specification. However, I notice in the datasheet for the TPS25961 that the accuracy is +/-20% and therefore I can't guarantee every board will meet spec.
- Is there an alternative part I can use to guarantee accuracy?
- How is the +/-20% accuracy of the TPS25961 calculated? Is this across the entire temperature range, load characteristics, batches etc?
Thanks
