TPSM831D31: Replacement proposal for the LTM4700

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

Our customer is using the LTM4700 to power the core of an FPGA.

The required specifications are: 12V input, 0.8V output, and 100A output current.

Could you please suggest the best replacement product?

Also, during evaluation, they use LTpowerPlay to monitor voltage, current, temperature, etc. via PMBus.
Does TI offer a similar tool?

    Hi Luna,

    The most current part that I think should be a competitor to the LTM4700 is the TPSM831D31. However, these parts are not P2P and have different footprints.

    TI offers our own PM bus to USB adapter and Fusion Power Designer software which allows all of the features you listed and more.
