UCC14141-Q1: We need an isolated DCDC converter with >2KV isolation

We don't have a 2kV lifetime working voltage (VIOWM) device, but you can use two 1kV devices in series (2x 1kV).

Please look at the TDDB curve to determine the time-to-voltage relationship.

What is the end equipment?

Why do you need > 100years?

What PPM do you need?

Hello Robert,

It's for an industrial application. We actually need DC isolation voltage tolerance not RMS tolerance which should be easier.

It needs to be lifetime with ~1ppm. We have a floating gnd biased at -2000V DC and we need to generate 12V with respect to that.

Your suggestion about series devices doesn't make sense to me.  The series device will only reduce the isolation requirement by the regulator output. Did I misunderstand you? Can you share a circuit diagram of your proposal?

I think that will work, we can create a floating GND between the series regulators. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
