Tool/software:
With LMR60440-Q1,
VIN=10V
Vout=12V (setting)
Iout=1.5A (image with system power consumption of 15W)
In this case, can you see how much V Vout is likely to be?

It will depend on the exact configuration but it should be slightly less than Vin, so around 8.5-9.5V can be expected.
Hi Niranjan,
Can we calculate and estimate the Vout drop in advance? Simulation is also enough.
Hi,
If you could get the frequency they plan to operate it at, I can give an estimate. It would also depend on the inductor DCR but we can take a typical value.

Hi Niranjan,
Could you please calculate for the case that fSW is 1MHz or 2MHz?
Best regards,
Goto
Hi Goto,
Actually the average frequency will reduce once dropout starts, so it should not vary much for 1MHz or 2MHz. An estimate I have is around 9.2V assuming frequency reduces to ~200 kHz, the minimum frequency. However, this is just a theoretical estimate and should only be taken as such.

Niranjan
