Hello,

In our project we need isolated no-opto flyback supply.

Our specs shall be,

Vin :18-150V

Vout :15V Iout : 3A

Is UCC28C53-Q1 IC the most up-to-date PWM controller for flyback applications? Would you recommend any alternatives?

Is our specs applicable for off the shelf transformers?

    Hi Egemen,

    Yes, UCC28C53 is a relatively new PWM controller (June 2022). Depending what features are most important, you can search from the parametric list here.

    It is up to the system level designer of your project- if they could find an off-the-shelf transformer, for the specifications of the converter. In some of the inductor/transformer vendor websites, you can use their filtering tool to find the off-the shelf transformer for your application.
