UCC25660: Regarding the PFC on/off control function during burst mode in the UCC256614.

Part Number: UCC25660
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC25661

Tool/software:

Hi team,

Since I was no longer able to select UCC25661 by part number, I have selected UCC25660 instead. My customer is considering adopting the UCC256614, but they are experiencing the following issue regarding the behavior of the TSET pin:

Among the UCC25661x series, UCC256614 appears to be the device that can control the PFC on/off state during burst mode.

In their evaluation, they found that while the PFC can be turned off when entering burst mode, it does not fully turn back on after exiting burst mode.

Additionally, the voltage on the TSET pin fluctuates.

To investigate this phenomenon, we asked the customer to measure the voltage waveforms of the V5P and TSET pins.

I would like to share the results, so it would be appreciated if we could communicate via private message.

Please send a friend request from the person in charge.

Best regards,

Kyohei
