My customer is evaluating TPS25751D as Sink. They set "Transmit Sink Capabilities (0x33)" as follows on TPS25751.
- Sink PDO1: Voltage=5.00 V, Current=1.50 A
- Sink PDO2: Voltage=5.00 V, Current=3.00 A
- Sink PDO3: Voltage=9.00 V, Current=2.00 A
- Sink PDO4: Voltage=9.00 V, Current=2.22 A
- Sink PDO5: Voltage=9.00 V, Current=2.77 A
- Sink PDO6: Voltage=15.00 V, Current=1.80 A
- Sink PDO7: Voltage=15.00 V, Current=2.00 A
Then, they connect TPS25751D with 45W AC Adaptor which has the following setting.
- Source PDO0: Index=0, Type=0, Voltage=5.00 V, Current=3.00 A
- Source PDO1: Index=1, Type=0, Voltage=9.00 V, Current=3.00 A
- Source PDO2: Index=2, Type=0, Voltage=15.00 V, Current=3.00 A
- Source PDO3: Index=3, Type=0, Voltage=20.00 V, Current=2.25 A
As the result, TPS25751D selects "Source PDO1 Voltage=9V"/"Sink PDO5 Voltage=9V" on red line.
Could you please let us know the algorithm to select PDO? They want TPS25751D to select Source PDO2/Sink PDO6 (Voltage=15V). Please let us know.
