LM5122: PSpice Model Failure

Part Number: LM5122
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5121

Tool/software:

The LM5122 and LM5121 Models in PSpice don't seem to work.  I can create a netlist and simulate, but the HO pin stays high and the LO pin stays low.  This is not the correct behavior.  I mimicked the example circuit in the LM5122 documentation.  Has anyone been able to model these ICs?

  • Hi Michael,

Thanks for using the e2e forum.
I am sorry to hear that you encountered problems with the LM5122 and LM5121 models.

Both model download files come with a pre-build testbench to run a default simulation in PSpice. Have you run these testbenches, or did you directly build your own schematic?
The simulation should run fine in the the default setup. If you see the same error here, we would need to investigate further.
If you have your individual schematic, it could also be related to the setup and not the LM512x models itself. For this case, could you share your schematic files for us to review?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Niklas
