Yes this is correct, the TUSB1044/A requires a 3.3V supply, but using VIO_SEL you are able to toggle between 3.3V and 1.8V for the 2 state control pins and I2C:
Can you help to check if TUSB1044 and TUSB544 has passed the certification of GMS and CTS standard?
I'm not familiar with these standards, are these system or device level standards? Can you send links for the specifications?
When I do a online search for these specifications I see:
Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM): This is a cellular specification and seems to be about wireless communication, not wired communication like USB
There are many CTS standards, none of which seem relevant to the TUSB544/ TUSB1044.
