MC34063A: the wafer part number is different from marking number, is it possible that the factory made incorrect part number on marking?

Tool/software:

we purchased MC34063ADRG4 from local franchiser but the pcb did not go well.

we made decap solvent test and it passes ,but chemical decap test of MC34063ADRG4 did not pass.

The wafter part number is MC33063, instead of MC34063.

Is it possible that the mexico factory made incorrect part number on wrong part?

and what would make this suituation?

The MC34063A and the MC33063A use the same die, the test method is different as the ambient temperature range is different, so your observation is correct and this part is not misprocessed.
