TPS65910A3EVM-583: Can I use I2C2 to control the TPS65910A3 to run at a constant speed of 1000MHz?

I can't speak to the u-boot-2018.01 older version support. For controlling the I2C speed, that could be done through modifying the corresponding am335 dts file via the clock-frequency (Hz) property, as shown in the example below. Let me know if that solves your question!

Not sure which specific am335x dts file the customer is using from this path: https://github.com/u-boot/u-boot/tree/master/arch/arm/dts

Example from https://github.com/u-boot/u-boot/blob/master/arch/arm/dts/am335x-evm.dts. I2C Speed for I2C0 is set to 400KHz. The customer can make similar changes to the I2C2 node.
