BQ40Z50: Issue with Disabling Protections for Safe Discharge (BQ40Z50-R5) - DSG FET Cut-off

Part Number: BQ40Z50

Hello Community,
I'm working on a protocol for the safe, full discharge (down to 0V) of used Li-ion battery packs prior to disassembly, operating in a controlled environment. The gas gauge IC used is the BQ40Z50-R5.
My objective is to disable ALL low-voltage protections and firmware safety routines to keep the DSG FET (Discharge FET) active under external control until the discharge is complete.
Main Problem
Despite disabling several thresholds in the Data Flash, the DSG FET systematically cuts off when the pack reaches a critical low-voltage/capacity state, interrupting the discharge process.
The DSG_TEST mode (ManufacturerAccess 0x0020) is activated after the Power-On Reset, but it is being overridden by the firmware.
