We currently have the TPS54218A parts loaded and in use, but need to order more and it looks like only the TPS54218 is still active. Per another post in the E2E forum, the 'A' version was created to distinguish between 2 different version of 'the silicon' (meaning die?). I think we were one of the customers that needed the 'A' version, which corrected the noise sensitivity issues of the "non-A" version which happened at cold temps, light loads, and Vin close to the max.
So, my question is, which design is being used today? If I order the TPS54218 part today, would I get the A version that corrected the noise sensitivity issues, or would I get the non-A version that still has the issue?
