TPS61177A: current setting & enable pin

Hi,

Currently using default current setting & enable pin permanent high

in case i would like to change Configuration Parameters through I2C, do i need to toggle enable pin or genrate reset condition?

let me know, if below eequence is OK

pwr ON

2. default enable pin high

3. PWM floating

4. I2C configuration

5. PWM pin switching based on brightness intensity requirement (expect new config. parameters get implemented)

Do i need to configure these parameter every time, after device reset?

There is EEPROM of this devices, you can save your configuration to EEPROM by following "7.6.10 Example – Saving Contents of all RAM Registers to E2PROM".

Regarding the startup sequence, it should be okay.

thanks for reply,

that means there is no specific requirement for PWM or enable pin status in configuration saving & it will be handles using I2C lines only

This PWM and enable signal are external signal that need customer to apply
