BQ79826Q1EVM-086: EVM connection

Dear team,

We provided BQ79826EVM and my customer is evaluating now. But they noticed the connector is different between theirs and what EVM user's guide shows.

Would you please let us know how to connect with their board?

Hi Yuto,

The customer can solder the HV_TOP (left side), while using the EVM gnd as the other ground. I believe the circle on the right is not actually the gnd of excitation board.

Would you let me know;

1. How to connect power supply with their board?

2. How to use resistor shirting option with their board? (it looks no land for the resistor.)

Hi Yuto,

The resistor will be on the top of the evm, behind the heatsink. The HV_TOP can be connected to top of battery, while GND to the ground of the battery to allow for excitation path to the battery source.
