BQ40Z50: The BQ40Z50 FD/TD is triggered, but XDSG fails to take effect

Dear TI Team,

Greetings. Here is the current situation: I am using the BQ40Z50 with a single cell, and the cell model is SONY US18650VTC6.

The current phenomenon is that both FD and TD are triggered during discharge, but the XDSG cannot be triggered, causing the battery to continue discharging.

This is a critical issue, and I hope you can help me look into it.

After my investigation yesterday, I suspect I may have misunderstood the concept.

When FD/TD is triggered, is it merely an alarm and does not trigger XDSG?

Is it actually CUV that triggers XDSG?
