  • DCR012405U has the  following thermal data.

    1. Maximum junction temperature is 125°C with case temperature  of 105°C

    2. Theta jc= 26°C/W power dissipation

    3. Theta ja= 60°C/W power dissipation

    4. Absolute maximum ambient temperature with converter soldered onto copper planes is 85 °C

    with case limitation temperature of 105°C.

    5. The absolute  maximum output power is 1 W.The input and output capacitors must be ceramic types as stated in the Product specifciation.

    6. The thermal data applies as long as the specification SBVA013A attached has additional information on optimizing the DC/DC converters. 

    7.  The power dissipation  calculation is (1/(efficiency(decimal))-1) * Output power = power dissipation.
