TPS7H1121-SEP: TPS7H1121-SEP: Does it have an Active Output Discharge feature?

Hello TI Support Team,

I am writing to inquire about the TPS7H1121-SEP LDO.

I would like to know if this device includes an internal active output discharge (or quick discharge) circuit that activates when the device is disabled (EN pin is set to low).

I have reviewed the current datasheet (SLVSH48C)  but could not find any mention of this feature.

I notice that the device is currently listed in "Preview" status. Is it possible that this feature is planned for the final production silicon, or can you confirm that this device does not include an active discharge function?

    Hello, 

    The TPS7H1121 does not have an active output discharge feature. This will not be added to the device before it is fully released for production purchases. 

    The TPS7H2221-SEP is a space-grade load switch with Quick Output Discharge. If you require output discharge, this device could be a potential addition to your design.
