Hi Forum,
Is the thermal pad on the TL4242 fully isolated? We measured the resistance to be between 8M-11MOhm between the thermal pad and pins 1, 3, 4, and 5. Is this acceptable?
Measuring equipment : FLUKE 179 TRUE RMS MULTIMETER.

Jon,
The TL4242 die is connected to the pad through a resistive die attach. I would suggest you tie the pad to ground. Page 12 of the TL4242 datasheet (THERMAL INFORMATION) has a statement "The thermal pad must be soldered directly to the printed circuit board". Therefore, it must be electrically connected to ground and not left floating.
