Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS53679,
When this power stage is used in conjunction with TPS53679, is there any point in driving EN pin from SKIP pin of the controller or is it better just tie it to 5V and leave it be?

Hi Raivis,
It is totally upto you.
If your application requires individual control for the EN then you may want to provide an separate control signal.
It can very well be tied to the 5V and left. In most of our reference designs, we have tied the EN pin to the 5V supply.
Thanks & regards,
Abhishek
The question is about this specific controller. It has tri-state SKIP pins that if connected to power stage that supports this feature would control different modes of operation of power stage, but I could not find any indication that this specific power stage does support those different modes?
Hi Raivis,
Sorry for the late response. Our expert will get back to you tomorrow.

Maha
Hi Raivis,
Yes, your understanding is correct, CSD95420RCB doesn't have a SKIP feature compatibility offered by the controller. It's better to tie it's EN pin to 5V.

Chanakya.
