Are there any news on the availability of bq51050?

The status of this was "Sampling" a few months ago (in an online TI presentation about bqTesla products).

In case it is available, could you send me the preliminary datasheet?

We can provide technical information regarding released products on the forum.

But schedule for future releases will be provided by local TI sales representative in collaboration with the project.

Bill,

Q1. This component is now released and can be purchased in quantity, but there is still no datasheet visible on the website - only a "brief", how can I get the datasheet ?

Q2. It s ays it can charge a Li-On/Pol battery, but what about LiFePO4 ?? can it charge that technology? I know Ti offer ICs for LiFePO4 but I need one that can be used with WPC. Please clarify.

This IC support both Li-Ion and Li-Pol Battery chemistry.
