Please find attached the block diagram of our current development:

Our main goal is to allow simultaneous charging and data transfer via the same USB Type-C port on the host side. We chose the PD controller based on your suggestion, and it works well. Now, we're increasing the charging power capacity. We conducted tests by loading various patch bundle images into the EEPROM, and here are the results.
In our experiment, we used a fixed voltage power source on PPHV pin for testing.
From our findings:
- A 20V fixed voltage external power supply can fast charge a laptop and MacBook, but not an iPad.
- A 15V fixed voltage external power supply can fast charge an iPad and MacBook, but not a laptop.
We aim to enable fast charging for iPads, MacBooks, and any laptops using the TPS25751D PD controller.
Please advise on how to meet our requirements.
Should we use a variable voltage power supply connected to the PPHV pin? If so, what should the base voltage be for adjustments? Is there a way to control this variable voltage power source?
