Using a BQ25504 doubts

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25504

I want to use a BQ25504 to recharge a Lithium battery and I want to feed a GPRS device with this Lithium battery. The question is, can I use the Vstor pin to feed this device?. What is the maximum power I can  provide with this pin?  (Output voltage in this pin is 4.1V)

Thanks.

  • The resistance of the VATOR to VBAT FET is 2 ohms maximum plus the battery impedance.  If the GPRS can operate with that type of drop, then it will work.

The main point is that the input source should be designed to collect more power than the average system power needed to run properly.
