pls give the idea...

we use the BQ2084-V143 solution. (BQ2084 + BQ29312APW ; http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/bq2084-v143.pdf )

our question is regarding " BQ29312APW " 's operation with abnormal.

==> Question

using condition : series array 4 battery pack

==> problem

3'st or 4'st battery measured voltage is 1.5V or 7V

make separated the battery then each one'w battery's measure voltage values is 4.2V.

Q1. what's is problem?

Q2. BQ29312APW's fault operation can check without battery connection?

    This could be a short on the PCB or a damaged bq29312A. Have you swapped the bq29312A with other and re-tested? Doe the fault follow the PCB or the IC?

    Q2. BQ29312APW's fault operation can check without battery connection?

    Testing of the fault dection features of the bq29312A (Short circuit and over current) does require the voltage across the sense resistor to be presented that corresponds to the bq29312A settings. I would suggest using the lowest settings for testing and then set to the desired level prior to shipping.
