In the presence of communication, the OCD DELAY of BQ41Z50 is normal. However, in the absence of communication, the delay time can be doubled or even longer. Upon checking the relevant registers, no abnormalities were found. Could you please help investigate the reason for the increase in OCD DELAY when the Gause IC is in sleep mode.
My setting is OCD delay 1s ,Without connecting an SMBUS pull-up resistor, the measured delay is around 5~7 seconds. With an SMBUS pull-up resistor connected, the measured delay is within 1~3 seconds. According to the specification, the SLEEP MODE delay will increase by more than 1 second based on the set value. However, with a pull-up resistor connected, there is basically no issue with the delay.
