TPS546E25: Question about Input Capacitor

Hello,

According to TPS546E25 datasheet, it say that 100uF bulk is used on the input, but can I use only ceramic capacitor for the input?

My design has Vin=5V. Vout=0.8V, Iout = 25Amax,

The TPS546E25 will be supplied for another DCDC (converting 12V to 5V to supply the TPS546E25).

The purpose of the bulk 100uF is to provide local energy to prevent the voltage from drooping voltage from long input traces or cables during load steps.

It is possible that 100uF bulk can be reduced or eliminated, if the upstream 5V output has enough capacitance and is near the TPS546E25 input.
