Hi TI team,

Regarding BQ25886's Thermistor, can I change the operating temperature condition from 0°C ~60°C to -10°C ~70°C ?

I'm using 103AT-2 thermistor.

If so, what are the resistance value of RT1 and RT2?

I was changed the resistance value of RT1(5.24k to 3.63k) and RT2(30.31k to 12.97k), but there was no variation in the temperature characteristics.

Can you help me?

I have run calculations on -10C to 70C configuration RT1=3.63k with RT2=12/97k this should work. What are you seeing in your test?

Hi Bill,

The temperature characteristics were same(little bit difference).

Even if I change the resistor value, the charging current decreases when the temperature is around 10°C.

Is it possible to change the decrease temperature start point form 10°C to 0°C?

It means that I want to change the overall temperature operating condition by 10°C for both warm and cool temperatures.

Hello,

Are you sure you are using the right thermistor? Can you measure the TS voltage and the REGN voltage at the desired temperatures and back calculate the percentage. Those values should be right.
