Hello experts,
I have a quick question on Auto-Skip Eco-mode, is this PFM or pulse skipping?
From explanation it sounds like PFM since frequency is not fixed, but it is confusing as it has 'skip' in the name.
Thank you.

Hi Jade,
we will check and get back on this.

Haseen.
Hi Jade,
The Auto skip and pulse skip mode are the terms often used equally, but can be misleading.
The DCAP does not have an oscillator for a pulse to be skipped. The control switches when needed.
See section 7.4.1 about entering skip mode https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps548a28.pdf#page=21
The ton, load current, voltage and cout are factors that impact switching frequency.

Haseen.
