LM5017 availability (small quantity)

Does anyone know of a supplier of the new National LM5017 willing to sell small quantities (a dozen or so)?    It's frustrating to get the email touting the new device and then fail to find any for testing.

I could ask for samples I guess but I'm happy to pay for the things, just don't find a place to buy them.

    Hello John

    LM5017SD (LLP-8 package) is fully released to market and available for sale. Typically, it takes 1-2 weeks after release for distributors to report their stock of new devices. This is the reason you do not see stock available from distributors on the ti.com or national.com websites. This will be corrected early in the week of February 6. In the meantime it is more of a manual process, whereby the customer has to contact the distributor (Arrow, Avnet, DigiKey, Mouser) directly for support with an order. We are also working to streamline this process in the future to avoid this gap.

    LM5017SD samples are available via the website at http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM5017.html#Order. LM5017MR (PSOP-8) samples are also available for pre-release sampling. Let us know if you have additional questions.
