I'd like to power the evaluation boards using a simple linear power supply. The supply is floating. What I'd like to do to generate the input negative voltage is simply switch my common and positive terminals on the bench supply, thus creating a negative value, and plug those into the evaluation boards.
Is there a problem doing this? The datasheet reads that, "any higher current 12V supply will work;" therefore, this shouldn't be a problem, right? Please let me know.
