  • Hello,

Can you provide more details or maybe an example of what you mean by operation and sequence?

From the perspective of the TPS25751 (PD):

    1.   When power is applied (either through VBUS or VIN_3V3)
      1. The PD controller generates LDO_3V3 from VBUS or VIN_3V3 a
      2. The PD controller loads the configuration from the EEPROM or waits to be loaded from an EC.
      3. If the PD is powered by VBUS then the deadbattery configuration will determine operation.
    2. Once the configuration is loaded the PD controller will configure the BQ device over I2C.
    3. Assume that PD controller is in APP mode and the dead battery flag is cleared
    4. When a USBC connection is made the PD will communicate to the BQ part
      1. Source or sink operation
      2. In source operation the requested voltage from the PDO contract negotiated.
    5. Upon disconnect the PD will communicate to the BQ to return to an unconnected state.

    Chris
