Hi Team,
Posting on behalf of our customer.
I am working with a 3s3p battery pack built using Molicell INR18650-M35A cells. I recorded a log at a pack voltage of 12.6 V (4.2 V per cell), and based on that data I was recommended ChemID 7607 with a 97% match.
I am running the learning cycle: I enable the gauge, perform a full discharge, and then let the pack relax for 5 hours. However, the Update Status does not change to 0x05.
I have a question regarding my system conditions. In my application, the battery pack is charged only up to 12.45 V (4.15 V per cell), with a taper current of 350 mA. When I run the learning cycle at this voltage, Qmax does update, but the Update Status still does not transition to 0x05, even after waiting up to 5 hours.
Am I performing the procedure correctly? Or should I first complete the learning cycle at 12.6 V and then reduce the charge voltage afterward? Alternatively, should I be selecting or generating a ChemID specifically for operation at 4.15 V per cell?
Regards,
Danilo
