TPSM852892: Parallel usage

Part Number: TPSM852892
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS552882

Hi support team,
I am looking for a Buck-Boost Module with the following specifications.

■Specifications
• Vin: 14 to 18V
• Vout: 14.13V
• Iout: 7.5A
• Minimize the area

Is it possible to use two TPSM852892 in parallel?

I'm currently using two LTM4607EV in parallel.

I'm looking into TI modules to reduce the area required for the design.
Do you have any good solutions?

Regards,
Dice-K

  • Hi TPSM852892 support team,

I’m following up on the question I posted above, as I haven’t seen any responses yet.
Could you please let me know if there are any updates, or if additional information is needed from my side?

Thank you very much for your support.

    Best regards,
    Dice-K

  • Hi TPSM852892 support team,

Due to a change in the system requirements, we would like to confirm the following updated specifications.

    ■Specifications
    • Vin: 9 to 15V
    • Vout: 14V
    • Iout: 7.5A
    • Implementation area: approximately 2/3 the size of using two LTM4607 modules

Could you please advise whether there are any TI devices or modules that could potentially meet these requirements?

As a reference, the LTM4712 may be able to fulfill the requirements with a single device:

We would appreciate your thoughts on the feasibility of a TI solution, including any future product plans if applicable.

    Best regards,
    Dice-K

  • Hi Dice-k,

    VIN=9V, Vout=14V is a worse case and i think 2x TPS552882 can cover it.

    Thanks,
