Hi,

In our project we ideally would like to use the EV2400 and instrument it to read battery information and provide a simple PASS/FAIL mechanism.

Are there any ways to instrument either the EV2400 from a custom software or to instrument BQStudio to provide a simple PASS/FAIL?

    Hello Alexandre,

    we don't provide support for using EV2400 for use in production, however what you could do is review the i2c/SMBus/HDQ communication coming from the gauge and produce a script that is able to confirm certain values in the data memory and register values.

    Ok so you mean reviewing the SMBus communication by developing on an embedded device? 

    Or do you have any off the shelf solutions to do so which would simplify the design?
