Hi expert,
My customer used BQ76905 and they did not use REGOUT, so they hope to save the REGSRC resistor and capacitor, but find the alert will always be triggered, and I found there is a REGOUT Alert in saftety status A regsiter, how to mask this alert?

Hello Emma,
You can mask the whole safety status register but you cannot mask the individual bit. Do you have the REG_EN bit set? If they are not using REGOUT then they can disable REGOUT which should disable the alarm.
Can you try disabling the REGOUT protection feature?

What I mean in last post, is i checked with customer, they already disabled REGOUT Protection feature in "Protections A Register", according to your picture.
and already disable REG_EN.
Just remove the R/C diode for REGSRC, then will trigger alert, I have customer get the alert information as below picture by EV2400.
And after add the R/C/ diode for REGSRC, the alert will go away.
