when to use 90% confidence level or do we have data with 90% confidence level?

what is LDO loading condition for this MTBF, 100% load or 50% load, may be in terms of power dissipation?

I believe the low confidence level has to do with a small number of failures, but I will confirm with a product engineer about this.

Hey Anurag,

60% confidence is the standard value for this device's rating per ISO 26262. Depending on the rating of the device, the confidence level will change to 80% or 90%.

Regarding MTBF and HTOL, the device is minimally loaded to ensure the junction temp doesn't climb too far out of the desired temperature and change the acceleration factor.

How can I calculate the life of device LDO if it is dissipating 0.5W? Is there calculator available for this from TI.
