TPSM831D31: TPSM831D31 related issues

Part Number: TPSM831D31

Hello,

DCDC output connection electronic load test, malfunction occurred during the testing process. After power on, the output becomes zero, and the upper computer displays that the input voltage is too low. May I ask what the reason is?

  • Hi Jeno,

Could you try increasing the current limit on your input voltage supply? Low VIN can occur when the input current is limited, causing input voltage to droop.

    Regards,

  • Hello Maha,

    1. Is it because the input current is too small that the input voltage is pulled down?
    2. previously asked about the buzzing sound emitted by ceramic capacitors. May I ask how to solve this? Are there any specific parameter requirements for using ceramic capacitors?

    Thanks.

  • Hi Jeno,

    1. Yes, if the input current limit is too small, the power supply will hit current compliance and pull the voltage down.

    2. Buzzing sounds from ceramic capacitors can be normal. If it is too bothersome, you can try swapping with a larger capacitor.

    Regards,

    Maha
