Vol(output level low) of power-good in LM26420

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM26420

Hello,

We are using LM26420 DC-DC regulator in our project. We need the information regarding Vol(output voltage low) of power-good pin in this IC.

Please provide the Vol information of power-good.

Thanks,

Prathvi

  • Hello Prathvi,

The Power Good output is an open drain signal. The VOL will depend on the pull up resistor and voltage used.

The open drain Rdson is typically in the 1kOhm range.

    Regards,

    Allan

  • The open-drain outputs for the PG1 and PG2 signals on the LM26420 need to be better specified.  An Rds(on) of 1K ohm is extremely high.  I am skeptical about this number.  Usually open-drain outputs are specified by a guaranteed maximum logic-low level with a particular load resistance (ie 0.5V max with 1mA load).  Also the absolute maximum drain voltage for the PG1 and PG2 outputs MUST be specified and they are not.

Please supply me with the guaranteed maximum output low voltage and maximum drain voltage for PG1 and PG2 on the LM26420.
