LM3429 buck boost current regulation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3429

Hi,

I had been using the LM3429 as a constant current LED driver. Input voltage range 12VDC to 48VDC and an output current of 450mA. The loads being used are also variable (around 8.4V for red LED load and around 12V (could be greater than 12V in faulty LEDs) typical  for green LED load). I am getting good current regulation in the input range of around 15V to 48V, but the output current ramps down at input voltages lower than 15VDC. Could anyone throw some light on it?
