need information on LM3880

Can you please provide the following information for the LM3880MF-1AA/NOPB; LM3880MF-1AB/NOPB parts?

  1. Junction Temperature Max (Tj Max)
  2. Typical Power, (Pd typ)
  3. Maximum Power (Pd max)
  4. Thermal Resistance Junction to Ambient (Theta JA)
  5. Thermal Resistance Junction to Board (Theta JB)              
  6. Thermal Resistance Junction to Case (Theta JC)
  7. Weight
  • This is what I could find on the  LM3880MF-1AA/NOPB; LM3880MF-1AB/NOPB parts?


    1. Junction Temperature Max (Tj Max) 125C
    2. Typical Power, (Pd typ) When the flags are high (off) the power dissipation will be (Iq + Ien) x Vcc. Or roughly 0.5mW.  When the flags are low (on) the power dissipation will be this plus the (pull down current) x (the voltage of the pull up). If we use 10K resistor on a 5V pull up this turns out to be roughly 8mW of dissipation for the device.
    3. Maximum Power (Pd max)
    4. Thermal Resistance Junction to Ambient (Theta JA) The 4 layer Jedec number for Theta JA is 165.6 C/W 
    5. Thermal Resistance Junction to Board (Theta JB)  The correct Term is Psi JB and it is around 68.9 C/W            
    6. Thermal Resistance Junction to Case (Theta JC) 132.1 C/W
    7. Weight. Don't know, I usually ask the Post office for this type of thing
