TPS43000 non-sync boost setting

Hi, 

Our Customer wants to set TPS43000 with 'Output Non-Synchronous Boost Topology', and few questions wants to ask

 
a. refer to device datasheet, page 16, second paragraph, 'procedure for selecting the loop compensation values for a buck converter operated in CCM:', Step 2: "Set the resister divider formed by R1 and Rbias to develop the desired regulation Voltage. ... Rbias set the DC operating point of the loop. ... does not factor into the loop compensation calculation."
Question: Does the above statement also apply to Non-synchronous Boost Topology? If it does, then we can proceed to next step.


b. Datasheet page 19, the relationship of Vout, Vin, and Duty Cycle obey Equation 20 for Boost Topology. Is it also valid to Non-Synchronous topology?
